Honestly I am not sure how well Starfield sold. Bethesda refuses to release numbers on copies sold versus (what they think) are Gamepass subs over the game. Gamepass is honestly the better deal but since it requires a regular supply of new games to play represents a larger investment per se on the side of the developer.

They claim 6 million players but I have no idea what that means. Bethesda isn't honest, Todd Howard is actively dishonest.
