A vast majority of users here and moderators are actually pretty good and decent human beings who are constantly stepping in to ensure things remain as polite and calm as they can be, so not sure where you've seen this supposed toxic behavior here because the forums are ever under the watchful eyes of good people. One of the rare places where a forum feels like an actual community,
Steam forums on the other hand are the complete opposite. Never seen so many primitive neanderthals rounded up and wreaking havoc in such a small space who are just looking to provoke, annoy, harass, insult, instigate wars and spew as many racist or anti-human vile filth as they possibly can without getting banned... but Larian openly admitted they only moderate if someone is fighting.
BG3 has a ton of praises which in today's day and age means bored immature goblins will come out of their mom's basement to intentionally provoke others and get reactions. Not sure who, what, how and why got bullied... I googled and did not find anything of note so not gonna waste more time trying to find out. Clearly not a big deal if I have to dig deeper than I already have.
But in any case, these forums I can vouch had nothing to do with it.
