There is a
very easy button available to you to flag a post as harassing. It's the little flag, imagine that, in the upper right corner of anyone's post. Making some vague call-out to moderators to "close some threads," without any specifics given, or a post mentioned or linked, is not just unhelpful, it reeks to me of bait. If you are feeling generally harassed by a group of people whose opinions differ from your own, and who take the time to state that articulately
in an internet forum, I'm afraid you may be in the wrong place. I've discussed differences of opinions with a lot of people here, and sure, sometimes there's a little vitriol thrown around, but I'm here for it. I knew that would/could be the case, and I never take it personally. You can take it personally, you have that right, but not everything posted that is in disagreement with your views
is personal. If you found someone's reply to a post of yours to be personal and harassing, please, by all means, click the flag, make a report. That will be way more helpful than just asking the mods to "close some threads," without telling anyone which threads you mean and why.
