I have a weekly game with my wife, nephew and brother. My Nephew has 4 other weekly games with other friends.

This is not a pug experience game but one you play with friends. This is not an MMO or such where you need people to play with, rather you want people to play with. Hence a coop.

Multiplayer is not dead, PUGS might be dying off but with friends it is alive and well.
