I've played through it one time (well, one and a half times) already. What I did notice on the 2nd try was that
there was no option to tell your companions about discovering your heritage.
That, I assumed, was a bug.
In my experience, it's
based on how you trigger the event. If you get it through long rest, you can inform them. If it's forced on you by the butler because you move too far into the act, you can't. The companion replies I was referring are mainly related to the Gortash reveal, where I know some can be exceedingly cold and if memory serves this was a confirmed bug, and during the personal story finale of a resist Dark Urge playthrough. In some other cases, I feel like they have less (or nothing) to say than I had hoped for, too.
