How many years will you wait for an expansion? It took 6 years to produce BG3, to expand the map and story would take a similar amount of time if the expansion was going to be of the same quality. I think BG4 is more likely.
That said, I believe they indicated that what they want to do make DoS3.
well if Larian is flat out skipping making any new content for BG3 and just going to make say BG4 or DoS3 i wouldn't say No to buying and playing either of those games honestly
