Ha, but if some hard boiled cop comes sniffing around wondering what happened they will find the exploded firework and think it was a simple accident. If they cast detect magic they might find evidence of a cantrip being cast. :P
Sorry, obviously there isn't this level of detail in the game but I find act 3 is easier to work with if I fill in the blanks with roleplay.
Oh, and on barrelmancy that's just a rule for me, I don't care what other people do. No judgement. It's there, use it, blow up the entire game. It's Larian's job to balance shit.
