I don't have strong emotions of any kind. I like the game as it is, but if the last years have shown me something, than if you campaign enough for a character, it might happen.
I just found it interesting, that you didn't bring the same argument in the Alfira thread and instead wrote, that you are not interested in Helia, but very much in Alfira. That makes me raise an eyebrow, despite of what you claim here. And then you get all snarky if someone points it out. I don't assume ill will here, I just point out, what it looks like, that is all.
And btw: a new companion can be considered as adding content, as can new classes, races. If you mean story content for the existing story, I don't disagree, there are parts, that could use some fleshing out, but that would be something for a new thread imo, because it will go under in threads that are about different, specific topics.

"Very much" is a strong one. Because I believe my post you saw about Alfira might be the first ones I typed the name "Alfira". I would say "In passing". - Just look at my signature. So again, phantom of your own imagining. You won't see me "campaigning" about it.
No I meant content as in quest, as in Story DLC - that will work with the variables imposed with established characters, class and races.
But again, for now I would prefer Larian to fix their game, add FSR2, release the game to XBOX, and make sure performance improves in all platform. Only then let's talk about new things.

There was a bard companion planned: Helia, the werewolf halfling bard. If we will get a bard, I want it to be Helia.
I don't know about Helia, but I know Alfira.
I want Alfira.
Whatever - you obviously have enough of a strong opinion to come in here and discuss with me. And yes, I'm writing here a lot, because I like the idea of a halfling bard companion and a companion of the smaller races in general, that is not exactly a secret in this forum. Doesn't mean, I'm obsessed, just means that I try my luck as long as Larian is working on the game, same as most of the others do in various trheads.
Sounds "very much" ardent argument pro-Alfira argument from known Alfirist(?) trying to sabotage Helia-ist' opinion.
Sarcasm again and I already said, that the fact, you go in there to support that character and come here to tell us that fixing content is more important than a new character, does say something, even if you said it once.
If you want other game related stuff, I suggest to make a thread for that and not hijack trheads with a completely different topic, where your point will probably will get lost.
As I said: I do agree with you, that the game needs fixing and more fleshing out of existing stuff, but considering the success of the game, there might be DLCs or an ultimate edition, where new companions might be a thing.
And of course you are free to see me as the crazy halfling-obsessed lady, I don't really care about that.
