Well Maybe its becouse i dont Bring anymore normally all the companions during my Games.. But i Always rest when my spell slots burn out or Before some Special part when i already know i will get a bunch of fights after another..
but regarding rest and history events if yu dont have all of the Companions By the end of Act 1 will be no more events in camp to show so yu can rest all as yu can without getting guilty of missing something.
(and some special lines and conversations yu do not need to Rest to get.. just speak with then after entering some special place or do something special in the game.. most of times they will have something to say. Kinda Love that in this game in my fist Run i didant Know this so i miss a lot and regret it..)
