I understand your problem, but beeing fair, your problem most probably is due to choosing Halforc and Halfelf (Drow). I think those races dont have any special interactions because they are not so special in the first place.
Playing a full Drow however, gives a hell amount of unique dialouges and Interactions, especially in Act I.
Beeing a Tiefling also has some, like beeing able to read Astarions Scars.
A Halfdrow however is still half human and there is very little reason for npc's to give credit for that
