I've been having this issue. I sent Lae'zel back to camp and whenever I try to get her to rejoin party she verbally accepts but doesn't actually rejoin.

I've tried doing this at multiple different camps without success.

She also seems to be stuck standing in front of Karlach in camp.

There’s several of us discussing this same issue on the BG3 Reddit. It’s happened to all of us, and there doesn’t seem to be any common cause between all the players affected. No response yet.

I've just made it to Act 2 and camped for the first time.

Lae'zel is gone altogether.

So, I have nearly finished Act 2. I went via the shadowed lands and decided I would go check out the mountain pass before I moved on.

I was surprised to come across Lae'zel walking along. I spoke with her and I got the dialog choice for her to rejoin my party. When I say yes she says "It is done" but doesn't actually join the party.

I think this has to be something to do with the same bug.

Did she slit your throat during a camp cut scene? Most of us that are experiencing this issue have that in common.

I also let her cut my throat, now she's not an option anymore.

There’s an entire thread on the Baldur’s Gate subreddit and everyone there shares the same common cause as well. Laezel slits your throat, you rezz at Withers or with a scroll, and Laezel becomes a yellow icon like Scratch. She will accept your invitation to join the group, but does not join, and eventually disappears during act 2.

Well, I guess I'll see her story stuff more on a later playthrough. I've just wiped out all the githyanki

Just to pump, issue is also happening with me, she is Yellow, don't have a tent in the camp. I can dialogue, ask her to join, she accepts but nothing else happens.

This happened to me when Shadowheart died and I picked her up, exactly! My trouble is then I rezed her and didn't bring her with me for days. Now that I've got her back in my group she won't follow no mater what I do, which is pretty game breaking at times.

Hoping we see a fix soon!
