Yeah seen this thread and tested conjuration for a sec, I stopped playing my main at 7 so I can't test everything but you do get another ability called Benign Transposition: Teleport. You can recast the ability after using a level 1 or higher spell.

I can see both water and tele being useful but they do come off as weak and lackluster for the conjuration theme. Could say the same about some of the other school focuses also though.
I see that subclass as meaningless and its description is the same as if it said "You are a wizard, you cast spells".
They should have made it similar to how they have done with the necromancer, focused on summoning, that would make sense with the description and what a conjurer is in the rest of the games.

you are a wizard and you do cast spells, went to look up neverwinter nights 1 to compare and yeah there is no specialization. I actually never bothered playing wiz to begin with cause all wizards are, are casters, plain and simple. Truthfully they probably wanted to make it more different since necro already focuses on that.

so yeah go play a necro...
Oh the great NWN, I loved that game. Yes, there the wizard subclasses were well specialized and felt totally different, being rewarded if you chose to focus on just one.
Exactly, I'll have to play with the necro.
