I tried one to take conjuration especially for the create water spell (broken wet condition)... but it is even WORSE than described here because OP didn't mention that you can only use it ONCE per rest.
Why yes, any such abilities are always only once per long rest.
I guess they could make it a Cantrip for Conjurers and then it would be uber. But I repeat my previous statement: a spell that doubles lightning damage is not really what you expect from a summoner. I'd rather want better and/or more summons.
