I've given several spell scrolls to Gale to learn. He has selected learn the spell, and paid the gold, but the spells don't show in his spell list, so can not be cast.

Am I looking in the wrong place?

I'm on a PC.

Never happens to Me but i do beleave its a Bug Then.. have some old Save ?
Before making him learn the spell ? if so Test it Out..
or Yu reset him ?
becouse if yu reset with withers in my game he forgot all the scrolls he have learned since then i reset him from the start when i whant to use him.
(i actually do this with all companions to avoid some bug.. just reset then to make then the way i want realocating some points, im kinda paranoid with even numbers Table Top thing..haha)

This may sound like a silly question, but do you know how to change out your spells? I mean, you know how to look in your spellbook and pick the spells you want memorized, right?

Gale can *know* a lot of spells in his spellbook, but he can only cast the ones he has memorized/prepared.

Thanks, I didn't know about the spellbook, and had to look for it; seems Shadowheart has spells I'd been missing too.

Completely understandable. While I love the game, I accept that the tutorial isn't great. It feels like the game expects you to know how to play it when it starts.
