Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Hopes for the next patch/hotfix?

A lot of the stuff being asked for are expanding the game, I would like to see a few things put back in that existed in EA and modders have shown still exist in the game code.

PHB Racial Modifiers: I would love to have an options to use the basic DnD Racial modifers and not the "simplified" options offered by Larian. Please also include the Human Variant as well.

Paladins Choose Deity: The argument people use against this is the base rule book which is meant to be more open optioned. However by Forgotten Realms lore, most Paladin's had a Patreon Deity. I am not saying to force the option on the players, I am saying let us choose one if we wish. The hooks for some of this in conversations still exists in game.

Now two other items for creation I would like to see added.

Allow for Stat Rolling: Please give us the option to roll for stats or use the existing method.

Create Custom party at Start: Would love to see an option where the player can choose at start to have an all custom party for solo play.

We know from the modding community that a lot of the first two requests already exists in game, should not be all that complicated to turn them back on. As for the second two since they are really only used at character creation I would not think they would be all that complex to add as they do not have any impact on the later game play feature wise.

Finally of course we want to see the official modding tools and would love to see a campaign editor for custom campaigns.
