not talking about queer relationships, at all. There are many discord servers with players wanting to have the "toggle sex on off" option. Straight, queer, etc. They are complaining about dialogs forcing sexual innuendos instead of friendships like "real life" does
The only thing, I have seen - and which I would prefer - is that relationships or sexual affairs are only activated, when the pc makes the first move, which is already the case with Shadowheart and Astarion and which imo works very well. If you say certain things to Astarion in the stargazer scene, he will come with the sex offer later, otehrwise he will never bother and will become a friend later. Same with Shadowheart: you have to use the phrase (paraphrasing here) that you think, that there is more between you and she invites you to the wine drinking scene, which iniciates the romance. I would like to see the same option for the otehr characters (maybe except for Karlach, because I think her scene is actually well done and just shows her desperation to be able to touch someone again and fits her character).
Another problem I have is that Halsins lines are mostly creepy in act 3, but that is my problem and I solve it by lettinh Halsin sacrifice himself nobley to Orin, since I don't care for that character.
I never saw someone wanting to toggle sex off tbh, but then, I'm not really looking for those discussions.
