not talking about queer relationships, at all. There are many discord servers with players wanting to have the "toggle sex on off" option. Straight, queer, etc. They are complaining about dialogs forcing sexual innuendos instead of friendships like "real life" does The only thing, I have seen - and which I would prefer - is that relationships or sexual affairs are only activated, when the pc makes the first move, which is already the case with Shadowheart and Astarion and which imo works very well. Additionally, I would also love for a switch for companions to stop coming on to you once you're fully locked into a romance (looking at you Halsin, you weirdo) You just named the reason, Halsin is Orin bait in my games (and I sadly 'botch' the role to save him)  - he is creepy as hell, trying to worm himself into relationships, after my character said no to him. But I don't care, since I don't use him ever in my games - Jaheira is the far superior character anyway for me. And that way, no important character gets abducted.

My issue with the sexuality in the game is it feels like all the companions are 16 year olds fully of raging hormones. How about real relationship options. A lot of the options right now feel like either have sex or tell them to go away. I would love to see more nuanced options. This 100%, thank you. It felt more like American Pie than DnD.

Hmm. I’ll admit I’m very dubious about this thread. In general I’m not keen on openings that aren’t the OP constructively talking about what they want to see, but instead are objecting to something that some other group elsewhere allegedly wants. And accusing these people, whoever and wherever they are, of prudery rather than replying to specific arguments doesn’t feel helpful.
Personally, I’d not engage with a thread that opens in such a way. But that may just be me, and I’ll see how it goes. In the meantime, a reminder that if you have issues with a post, please use the report functionality. We don’t necessarily read everything, and even when we do see a post we’re not sure about, it’s very helpful to know what other folk in the wider community think, to ensure we’re intervening when we should but not overdoing it.
