Hmm. I’ll admit I’m very dubious about this thread. In general I’m not keen on openings that aren’t the OP constructively talking about what they want to see, but instead are objecting to something that some other group elsewhere allegedly wants. And accusing these people, whoever and wherever they are, of prudery rather than replying to specific arguments doesn’t feel helpful.
Personally, I’d not engage with a thread that opens in such a way. But that may just be me, and I’ll see how it goes. In the meantime, a reminder that if you have issues with a post, please use the report functionality. We don’t necessarily read everything, and even when we do see a post we’re not sure about, it’s very helpful to know what other folk in the wider community think, to ensure we’re intervening when we should but not overdoing it.
