The level mod out there doesn't give you level 13. It allows you take a second class after level 12 and start at level 1. This would be PERFECT and EASY for Larian to implement. However this suggestion isn't getting noticed by Larian. They would make 25% of their customers EXTREMELY happy and the other 75% wouldn't even care.

It's a win-win-win scenario that and is the only shortcoming the game has.

People aren't asking for level 13+. They are asking for Larian to remove the glass ceiling!

The two times I finished the game, when I reached level 12 I lost the desire to continue doing the missions and moved on to the final objectives to finish the game. A way to keep leveling up, even in another class, would help keep your spirits up.

Why is everyone so intent to strap themselves into a glorified skinner box? If you didn't like the late game quests, a serotonin injection into the brain isn't actually going to make them any better. It'll just dope you up, so you don't care if you're having fun.

An early level cap is perfect. It gives the player more leeway on which quests to follow and which to ignore, which is something you should be extra thankful for if you're getting bored once you hit the cap. It also makes it easier for developers to balance late game encounters, which are supposed to be the pinnacle of the game, hence need good balancing (in theory anyway, I don't think Larian has quite figured out the second part yet).

Personally I'd let people convert every...5k? 8k? 10k? Into a bonus feat. Levels don't change but versatility improves

you get enough exp in this game if you do all the act 3 content you can, to hit atleast 15. maby they should try to fix the exp pacing? id be way less diasppointed if i didnt leave act 1 at lvl 7.5, and then start act 3 at lvl 10, and then hit max extremely fast.

I agree, the level cap is bad. When I stop developing I lose interest to play. To people liking the cap : just beat the game however you like and stop telling the others early cap is a wonder. I like exploring everything to the max and I invested 220 hours to finish the game. It would've been easily 270 if I didn't skip 2/3 of act 3 for lack of development and now I don't even want to start another run.
We fully deserve to be a bit stronger in the end if we invest more in the game. I don't even want something huge, like lvl7 spells, just some hit points and minor abilities would be fine.
Also there is no cap in D:OS and D:OS2 , there is no cap in Baldurs Gate 2 as well.

Everyone is very welcome to express any view on this topic that is in line with forum rules. Telling people to stop expressing such views isn't okay.

Oooooo I like the idea of allowing more levels but in a different class! That would be really cool.

There is a mod that does that. Doesn't help us ps5 types though
