Tired of that "ripped off" unsatisfied feeling? ...do you know of a game thats not worth the powder to blow it to hell? ...or just gotta gripe about some games control system, or playability......features (or lack of) happy, sad, evil, or good post it here and let everyone in on your secret...... !!

FREELANCER ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!
but after the storyline is gone it becomes a bit dull, true but then again the storyline keeps you going for quite some time though.
another one: Tombraider AOD: better gfx: couldn't tell, better engine: still the same probs as TR2 imho, so it's mere a bit newer but not worth it's money DO NOT TOUCH

Pool of Radiance 2 = it was so buggy and ugly that I never played farer than the 1st dungeon.
Might and Magic 9: I had to give up just before the end, cause I couldn't get past a hanging cutscene - and the German version only had a keyboard control patch. The company gave up support and concentrated on Heroes of MM. Well, I'm still sad about this and 3DO going bankrupt though.
Wizards and Warriors from Activision = very very buggy.
I won't list my other disappointments, liking/disliking game play is subjective after all, right? Kiya

I was disappointed in Heroes 4, I might be less picky if Id bought it for cheaper, but as it is I think all the earlier games were better.

FREELANCER ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!! Freelancer would've been OK if I'd buy it for 10$. But Freelancer is nothing more than a watered-down, commercialised to death, sim made for complete idiots (No offence Viper, I played the game too, after all). Even the "Space Trader" game on my palm is much better with it's dynamic trade system, special encounters, big mission variety and RPG elements.

Masters of Orion 3 = an abomination to its predecessors name. If you liked 2 which I thought was fantastic then DO NOT BUY 3 it was simply horrendous...

there were ofcours some games who were a disapointment. I started with RPG's on my early game years when I bought my fist nintendo 8 bit console. as a 12 year old boy. i realised very quickely that these games were VERY expensive. And i had to save every penny of money to but a cardridge. when i played zelda1. i was amazed because the game took soo long to finish. it gaved me a price / time quality that was good for me.
but sometimes you buy a action game too. because there weren't that mutch RPG on the NES system.
one of my miss buying games was a game that was a bit of a history in the arcades. it was the first game that alowed you to play with 4 plyers at the same time. you could be a wizzard a rogue a barbarian and euh..something elso also its was a shot, from above and you had a big maze were you had to toch the door the open it. and then 100ths of ghost were commin toward you. you probably know the game i 'm talkin about.
i played it on the arcades and it was fun! but then the game went out on the NES. and it was so borin ..the most stupid port ive ever seen. there was no level cap.soo you couldn't never finish the game (atleast i dont think soo...) after playing 2 days i was crying myself away, because it took me a few months to get the monny for a other game...
i remember the game "probotector" a kinda contra game on the NEs also..id played it out in 1 day! but that was then..
the most recent pc games..let me think.. i have bought alot of pc titles wich i didn't start playing yet baldorsgate2 + expension return to caste wolvenstein commandos2 nox diablo2 +expansion planescape torment fallout2 Never winter nights hitman2 might & magic 6 total anihilation kingdoms starcraft(! haved it for years)) etc... ( all origionals before someone thakes a strange look at me))
soo i recently installed another game called "dungeon siedge"
and i like diablo2 (played until act 2 and ten boufght the expansion pack..now waiting to start over agian)
soo..installled the piece of c-rap..disapointment ! sigh i bought all these games at FULL price you know..
i (start learned) now that if i wait a few years i can buy all the top titles for a bargan price..
exept for and the upcomin games because these games become very personaly for me (by the forum )
one game i was disapointed in away was the sequel of the 7th guest. the 11the houre. a kind of myst fameplay with a mansion with puzzles. th eproblem to unlock a chambre with a new puzzle thed evelolpers made "word games" like anagramms and stuff. i don't speak english as a motherthongue , and if it was difficult for somezone who speaks english, how difficult is it for me? so i had to use the hints on the internet to solve these wordgames. and that was the dissapoinment.
so : my next game i'm gonna install is baldors gate2 +expansion
pff. done typing now in belgium they would say "dat was een hele boterham"

here's one....."project nomads" ........ Oi! I'm the forum moderator for that game! I thought it was great. It wasn't particularly challenging and the story sucked, but the graphics and gameplay were amazing.

Had some flashbacks about another flying island game called Stratosphere.

Which one? Statosphere is old and for some reason I dislike that game... Well, not the game, but the idea of flying islands. Sounds way too silly for me. That's why I didn't even try to get Nomads.

I didn't really like Dark age of Camelot. My first MMO RPG game and probably my last. I imported it from US - payed extra taxes and stuff, and you'll have to pay 11$ or something like that per month. It was kinda nice in the beginning, but got boring within two weeks. Too bad
I was lucky because I sold my account for 50EUR (It was including that expansion Shrouded Isles)

Crusaders of Might and Magic.
The voices were so crappy ...
In the Intro, the "Crusader" surprises a horde of Undead.
One of the Undead says : "It is him !"
Well, on hearing this, I almost fell off my chair.
Imagine a boygroup and several teenies around them almost getting insane on seeing them.
One of these teenies cries " It is him !"
That was exactly the voice.
How horrible.
