If you compare the Origin Characters’ faces with their Voice Actors, though there are nuances, the resemblances lie on the distances between their cheekbones, jawlines, eyebrow points, facial dimensions and what not. That is intended to precisely map facial expressions.

If we can fully customize the dimensions of Tav’s face, most likely those key points used in mapping expressions wouldn’t line up and this game will end up like Mass Effect Andromeda, the greatest facial disaster in gaming history.

If the immersive Cinematic Dialogue feature doesn’t exist in this game, we can have unlimited faces.
I installed an "extra face" and "extra hair" mod. Expressions are not so bad, I think. Compared with the normal Tav faces.

Slightly happy. There were happier faces, but not halting on dialogue and they switched too fast to make a screenshot.

I think it shouldn't work out too badly to add some more in the base game, if even a mod can do this.
