I love the game so far, but I have one gripe that impacts my first run through. I didn’t immediately start romancing anyone in Act 1. I tried to romance Astarion in Act 2, but either the approval was too low or I locked myself out at this point. I saw some posts that led me to believe starting a romance was possible in Act 3, so I took my time and just played the game.
I found out a couple nights ago that I can’t start a romance with literally anyone (except Halsin) after starting Act 3. I’m 70+ hours into the game, and I’m debating on whether to just start over.
On the one hand, I could’ve just received inaccurate information and am now feeling the consequences of said information. On the other hand, demisexuals exist (I being one of them) and I wanted to play this run through as accurate to myself as the game will allow. Would it not make sense to have the option to start a romance with a companion in Act 3, especially when they’ve been through so much with you already?

TL;DR: I humbly request consideration from Larian to allow romances to start in Act 3 please and thank you. <3

Shadowheart’s romance would probably work well for a demisexual person because it’s such a slow burn and nothing is actually official, or sexual, until act 3. If you want to romance somebody, I do think you’re going to have to start over unfortunately. But yeah Shadowheart should be what you’re looking for if you want a strong emotional bond first.

You do definitely still have to increase her approval, get her romance scenes, etc. in act 1. But it’s really tame compared to some of the others.
