I realize that this is a necro old post... but it is totally a bug... the not having everone die thing, not so much. I 100% agree actions have consequences. None of those other things that the customer complained about are bugs because they are still in proximity of the bomb plan and simple. But the fact that the dialogue does not change, and Gale thinks you are in his party. That is immersion breaking. I would not go as far as to say it is completely game breaking. But the dialogue should change accordingly. The fact that it does not is definitely a bug. Now if the gamer also makes it all the way to the underdark before the 3 day mark, and it still killed their entire party. Then, the argument of not being tied to Gale in any way holds at that point.

If they die in the underdark some distance away this would also be a bug. But on the map after escaping the nautiloid, if everyone wipes. The dieing part is not a bug... but the dialogue part is for sure.
