Mostly I 'm ok with the pacing, but in act 3 it gets a bit convoluted.
Act 1 and 2 are good,story - and pacingwise. I don't know if I had needed the Absolute reveal that soon tbh.
Act 3 gives you a lot of urgency and yet there is so much to do apart from the main story. I like it, but realistically you would try to focus on the main task, I guess. If you have Jaheira recruited, she will at least tell you, that you have to make friends in the city to help you in the things to come. I don't know, how it is without her.
I still think, Omeluum should have been included in the last fight/ mindflayer decision, if alive.
