I find the weapon stats that are shown for my characters quite confusing. Here is Minthara.
She has dual wielding feat.
In the weapons pane, it shows flail damages : 9-21, but in the character sheet : 6-13
For the sword, the weapons pane shows : 4-11, character sheet : 2-9
I think the low values are correct because I don't recall her doing massive damage like a 20-like with the flail and a 10-like with the sword.
Why this difference ? Is it a bug or does it have a game rationale ?

It's Larian's bad way of doing it.

Character sheet:
The sword is doing 1d8 +1 so between 2 and 9 damage. The +2 acid damage is not is not taken into consideration nor is the 1-4 poison from here being a drow.

The flail has 1d8 +5 so between 6 and 13 damage. The +2 acid and the +1d6 necrotic are not taken into consideration


The weapon sheet:
The sword has the +2 acid added so between 4 and 11 damage.

The flail has the acid and necrotic damage added so between 9 and 21 damage.

The game is FULL of such problems... the UI is terribly confusing and designed on top of being full of bugs. Definitely one of the worst thing in the game.

• The damage shown below a weapon's accuracy in the inventory screen is raw damage done without any additional extra/conditional bonuses that come with the weapon.
• The damage shown in the weapon's tooltip is the total damage of the weapon; meaning its raw damage and all bonuses that are listed on it.

Which is quite messy and confusing when the conditional bonus requires special steps to benefit from. Made a thread about it ages ago hoping they'll correct it or streamline it to stop confusing people, but here's a very tiny example of why it's an issue;
