Single player on PS5. Zero mods, game is as up to date as I can make it. No idea how to install a mod there, but the main bug report screen doesn't give PS5 as an option, only PC and Mac. Ditto, all the instructions for following up are geared to if the issue happened on a PC or Mac, using Steam or not.

Doing
Save Vanra
quest.

Environmental:
Three characters should be able to ignore difficult terrain effects due to equipment. Those two, just like the other two, struggle with reduced movement speed.
Gear equipped: on PC,
"Ring of Free Action" - "Unwavering: You ignore the effects of Difficult Terrain, and cannot be Paralysed or Restrained."
I have screenshot of this one actively not working. Same PC also wearing
Disintegrating Night Walkers
. Have experienced this issue elsewhere and not in combat.

Gear equipped on Wyll:
"Boots of Genial Striding" - "Genial Strider: The wearer's movement speed is unimpeded by Difficult Terrain."

Gear equipped on Karlach:
"Boots of Persistence" - "Legendary Mobility: You gain Freedom of Movement and Longstrider."

Yep - nope to the nope on all three. All three have the red legs and reduced movement due to the terrain feature in
the area outside Ethel's lair.

Another weird movement thing: my PC has illithid flight, but when flying over the difficult terrain, it causes slower movement just as if she was walking (and, again, as if she wasn't wearing that
Ring of Free Action)
. Same problem for the
Cambion
, can't fly over the difficult terrain here, flies at the same half-speed as would have walked. Oddly, this *does* work for Wyll's imp familiar. This is different than other places, where flight over difficult terrain seems perfectly fine. Sometimes, flight won't allow a straight-line path, but insists on following what would be the "preferred" walking path. Up/down ladders or roots, when flying, seems absurd.

Spells don't work: Protection from Evil and Good, Remove Curse, Countercharm.

Characters rendered "Frightened" and therefore "Immobile." Used "Remove Curse". This gave a combat log message that the curse was removed, but character - Wyll - was left "immobile". Used bardic Countercharm. Wyll, despite being within his own circle of effect, is *still* immobile and unable to flee.

"Curse of Regret"
tool tip says you must deal damage to break. It doesn't seem to work. Wyll still has
the curse
he shouldn't have.

And, of course, the usual - Flaming Fist are kill-stealers. In that, even if party members killed the bad guys, FF stand around and try to arrest you if you attempt to loot someone you killed or pick up a weapon you disarmed from the enemy. They seem to have a terribly fungible concept of who's good and who's bad, even when they fight the bad guys side-by-side with you. This is not limited at all to
Blushing Mermaid upstairs
. It also happened in several places in Acts 1 & 2, and in other places in Act 3.

I've searched the forums here for mentions of these bugs and not found any. Ditto the FAQs and the Patch Notes. The PS5 gets rebooted fairly regularly due to crashes to black screen during large combats like in
Felogyr's.

Time to rescue or revive Wyll. Sorry, Wyll.
