Hey guys,

I've been trying to start a local multiplayer game with my partner for a few days now but no troubleshooting has been able to fix my problem - here's what the "Venture Forth" button looks like for us on controller:

We've both made absolutely sure there are no choices pending, but are unable to get the game to begin in split-screen. One player is using the Fusion PRO PS4 controller, and the other is using L/R Nintendo Joy-Cons, both of which are recognised by Steam and work fine within the Character Creation menu.

Some of the things we've tried based off other posts:

• Enabled and disabled Steam Input in Controller Settings
• Started the game in single player using mouse and keyboard and tried to join post-introduction cutscene
• Made sure the Guardian is not using Body Type 3, 4, or is a Zariel Tiefling
• Disabled all mods in BG3 Mod Manager
• Booted the game with Vulkan, but was met with a graphics-related Fatal Error immediately
• Used each controllers in single player Character Creation to see if there was an issue with a specific controller, but couldn't start a game in either scenario

I've seen a few other people on Reddit with the same problem that haven't found a solution yet. If anyone knows of a solution or anything to try, please let me know! I would be very grateful.

I'm having the same issue.

Unable to venture forth for a single player game with controller.

Tried multiple controllers, none have worked. Only mouse and keyboard can venture forth.

Also unable to join a game in progress via local multiplayer.

same issue here, trying to do a 4 person lobby with 2 computer, 2 person per, and cant venture forth
