Dwarves needing love? Indeed lack of half-dwarven subraces is sus.
I would have scrap Dragonborns out of the game (despite the good appearance) in favor of more dwarven options. Those dragons not getting the same stuff draconic bloodline sorcerers are getting anyhow, just look at the mess in popular lightning based builds.
The few dwarven items don’t make it. You have to have a dwarf Tav and it has to be a fighter probably. Maybe exactly the dwarf build the single playtester playing one was using…
On the other hand, average BG3 player plays elves and half-elves so… *shrughs*
