I am not 100% certain, but I think something might be wrong with the Armor of Landfall regeneration ability. From the description, it sounds like it should operate in the same way as the Wood Woad regeneration, which as of Patch #4 does indeed work but only for the Woad. I tried a few different combinations of vines and plant growth, both in and out of combat, and I never got any regeneration. There should be a little rotating icon, but it never shows up. Is anyone else having the same problem?
