Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems The game is not using my GPU

My game is stuttering to the point where it’s unplayable, and it even happens in the home menu. When I first started playing it ran completely fine, but then the stuttering began so I stopped for a month. I then ran it out of curiosity to see that the stuttering stopped, so I played for a few days and now it is happening again. I have updated to the newest drivers, reinstalled the game and nothing works. I've noticed that is not running on my GPU at all, I've searched online for many solutions and nothing has worked. Other games are running on the GPU. I’m playing on a laptop with an intel core i7 and a Nvidia GeForce rtx 2060. Please could someone help to fix this, I am really enjoying the game and don’t want to have to quit.

Not sure whether this helps or not, but it did help me when I had 'problems' with the graphics.

Go to Larian Studios folder (usually on your c: drive) under this address "%AppData%\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\LevelCache".

Make a save copy of all the folders (they are numbered) inside.

Delete all the folders at this location.

In my case the game run smoothly afterwards
