I also dislike her. And the worst part is how the other characters are written around her so there is no option to put her down. I mean Mizora broke her pact with Wyll in chapter 1. When she sent him to haunt Karlach, she effectively broke the pact because the clause she quotes talking about infernals, devils, and "heartless" doesn't really apply to Karlach. After all, Karlach does have a heart. Sure, it is an Infernal mechanical heart. But at no point in the clause does it mention that your heart must be inside you or that your heart must be biological or the one you were born with. Therefore, SHE broke the pact.
I get that this is the part where Wyll becomes cooler. But there should be an insight or intelligence roll there to notice. And later, in Act 3, when the witness comes, you should be able to bring the breach of the contract by Mizora at that point. Basically turning the devil's law against her. In my opinion, Wyll quest should include using Shovel (another devil) to steal or get information about the contract. You should be able to get more information in the Shar temple invaded by demons/devils in the Underdark and more in Act 2, with Baltazar or the devil in contract with Raphael and if you gather enough evidence of Mizora in breach of contract, trigger a trial where she can end as Wylls pet in virtue of HER contract breach. Sadly, only Shadowheart and Laezel get enough development of their personal quest in the 3 acts. The others only get little bits until Act 3.
Also, when she offers Wyll a "choice" in Act 3, is a false dichotomy, he could simply choose to say, "neither", I don't need to agree to a new contract. But you are not given a choice. For her to look "clever", they need to dumb down Wyll and the player character.
Plus, why after you tell her that you don't want her at your camp, does she decide that you "have been looking at her with desire" and you aren't allowed to insult her by saying her that she is a stupid deluded imbecile to that imagines things and that you find her an undesirable pathetic excuse of a devil. That you won't have sex with losers like her? You can insult everyone else, with Mizora, when you turn her down you are soft. As OP said, she is "protected by the masters/Larian". And just knowing that Wyll pretends to kill her is not enough. @EMC_V I agree with pretty much everything you mentioned With Karlach, I know other users have found a work-around, by "killing" Karlach. They add karlach to their party, disguise their character, kill Karlach from ranged, then trigger Mizora and tell them Karlach is "Dead." Mizora gives them the infernal Robe, you resurrect Karlach AND Wyll does not have horns. I haven't personally done it, but others have said Wyll acts as if he's killed Karlach, even when she's dancing 2 feet away 8'D
With the destroying of the infernal contract, I absolutely agree.
**Raphael Spoiler** There's a part where Raphael offers you the orphic hammer, and you can take his deal or later break into the House of Hope and steal it. Of course, I don't make deals with the devil, so I break into his place instead (lul). At the Devil's Den, if you choose to kill the lady working there and steal everything in the display cases, then perform the satanic ritual yourself (oi) there's actually 2 infernal diamonds (or something similar) that unlock hidden rooms in Raphael's place. One of them has Mol's Contract (I totally stole it) and presumably yours too, if you made the deal with him. **End Raphael Spoiler**
This to me, means that these contracts COULD exist in the material plane, and technically they should be destroyable. What I would really like, is an expansion pass where we get to travel to Avernus with Wyll/Karlach and we get to Meet/Destroy Zariel. One of the best characters, it would be better to make her a companion instead of astarion or shadowheart *gasps* Blasphemer. Astarion is my favorite character. So much sass. I killed Lae'Zel and Let Emperor snack on Orpheus' brain, even though I had the Orphic Hammer and could have freed the Gith :3 So I guess we're even :p In all seriousness, like whoever you want, it's fun regardless which characters you bring along.
