Wyll's tiefling party dialogue got changed in the recent patch. And apparently they took out the banter where he flirts with Laezel and Shadowheart(maybe someone could check?)
I don't know how to feel about the tiefling party change. I can sort of understand why they'd axe the flirting since he isn't really a flirty character anymore.
I think the backlash from the fandom against his tiefling dialogue was overblown, and showed how much people really don't try to understand or empathize with Wyll's character at all. It's especially telling how people react to his reasoning for taking the pact. Apparently Wyll is an idiot because he chose to sacrifice himself to save others? I guess he should've just let his home die, lol. Anyways, it made perfect sense that he wouldn't be comfortable hanging around people after getting ousted as a Warlock essentially and made a Devil against his will. It always felt like people kept twisting Wyll's words and actions to make him come off as the bad guy in that scene. And now he comments on his scars instead which is just...?
I really hope this isn't the lesson Larian ends up taking with Wyll from now on. Instead of building up on what's there already, they'd rather just cut even more content from him, and sand him down even more in attempts to keep trying appease people who never was going to give the character a chance in the first place.
