Karlach is my favorite companion but Wyll's story is my favorite even though it's a bit over the top. I multiclassed him into a Swords Bard in my playthrough which seems to fit his character. I prefer playing a custom character over origins, expect for the Dark Urge which is as far as I'm concerned the canon story of Baldur's Gate 3, but if I decided to play an origin character it would most likely be Wyll.
