I have issues with one of the quests.



Rescue the Grand Duke quest

1. I talk with Duke, Gortash and Mizora after coronation. Agree with alliance, but i kept the stones. I don't plan to keep this alliance, but want to turn off Iron Watch first.

2. Go to camp for long rest, talk with Mizora again, reject her offer, quest "Rescue the Grand Duke" change to "finished"

3. Follow the gnomes from forge quest. Get the location of the prison, find submarine. During the talk with the dwarf capitan, Wyll tell that's his father need to be there... Reach to cell and surprise... it's empty. No dead duke, nothing.

4. Load a save before go to sub (same day, after refuse Mizora's offer), and check the Audience Hall... and this bald son of a ... tadpole is there...


Referring to other theories, I found:

I didn't start the dragon quest earlier.

I don't have the exclamation mark bug over Wyll's head.


Furthermore, I also load and try to do everything again, this time without talking with Gortash after coronation and it's almost the same...(only thing different is video conference with Gortash, and option to turn back before docking).

Any ideas why he is not in the prison, even though he was, according to Mizora, deported or killed?

And why does everyone think he's dead when he stands calmly in the audience hall and babbles about the wonders of the Absolute?

Anybody? Some solution, or at least workaround, as it a little bit irritating.


Out of curiosity… did you kill Orin already? If so, did you do it before the coronation?
