Done. Nominated BG3 in every category I could because, even though the game is having some issues right now, it’s still one of the best games I’ve ever played.

I cannot voite now. The game desperately needs a new patch that fixes some serious issues. For me after patch 2 the game gone down from 10 to a 5. Before that I just gived everywhere a 9. It was almost my dream game.
So I want to wait a little . And I will give my voice on the last day.

Actually the game is in such a bad shape in the last few days the bug section of the forum got so much more viewers and attention then all romance threads combined in the last 2 months .

Game released 1/2, no closer to 1/4 baked.

What games are people nominating for the categories that BG3 isn't eligible for, then?

BG3 cannot be nominated for "VR Game of the Year Award" and "Labor Of Love Award", so I voted No Man's Sky for the latter, but for VR I just skipped as I don't even have a VR set.

Also gave Sifu my vote for "Best Game You Suck At Award" since it's a challenging game, even though I don't suck at it... I merely swallow

It has its issues and I've raised them here. But by and far the best game I've played in years and I've thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
Act 3 needs some serious work but Act 3 moves the game from a 9.5 to a 9 for me. There's just so many things they did right with this game and, despite bugs, despite Act 3, despite some half-baked storylines and endings, I've still gone back to it and invested nearly 500 hours into it just because my other games don't compare.

Love this game. Larian made something truly great.

I wish I could take back my nominations. I voted before I was 1. Aware of the Act 3 issue; 2. Encountered the Act 3 issue; and 3. Realized Larian no longer cares.

I nominated Lord of the Rings online for labor of love, and Submachine Legacy for the artistic style one, both games very dear to my heart.

Apparently I could nominate Returnal for Steam Awards, so I did. Labor of Love went to Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.

In spite of abyssmal customer communications and making the game worse after release/Patch 2 I will go and vote for GOTY.
This is the first game I cared about since ... BG2? Might and Magic VII?

the act 1,2 of this Game is Great but its just That..
when yu get to act 3 fall apart..
and Now its even Unplayable.. well kinda Hard to Vote well for then.. sorry.

I personally do because even during Early Access I had more fun and satisfaction with BG3 than I did with some fully finished games.

It's a big game with a ton of passion poured into, so my choice is clear. Bugs will be fixed, most of them already are being fixed.

Or you could judge how the game is now because the award is for now and not for what you think it will be in the hypothetical future. Just a thought.

I said "even during Early Access", which implies I'm enjoying it even now and overall having a fantastic experience despite some of its current issues. So my choice is clear.

Thorvic said it was unplayable so it was hard to vote for them. You said 'bugs will be fixed'. You vote for your own reasons, but if it was referencing what was said earlier, well, I was voicing my support for judging the game how it is currently.

The only reason I gave BG3 my vote for some categories is because I don't play a lot of new release games, and I didn't want to purposely choose another game just to spite BG3. (also i wanted to complete all the vote categories because I'm weird)
