Huh. You’re looking at the game in a very binary way. Just because someone chooses to defend the Grove doesn’t mean they’ll remain ‘good’ for the rest of the playthrough.
So, it seems you don't want Minthara of Baenre, but just a good Drow Palladin who is ready to forsake her heritage. You already turn Lae'zel like this, but Lae'zel is young and hasn't started her fighting career yet in earnest. Minthara is already a leader when you meet her. So it's not quite the same.
Some of us don't want to intentionally change these characters and would prefer them to have their own agency. I don't know how you got all this from people wanting an alternate way to recruit her, but go off I guess XD
