Larian does make special builds for people to play with different code... That's not the same as testing
Your customers download a patch, install it over their game and load up a save from that old build... Testing = you do whatever your users are expected to do and that's when blatantly obvious bugs show up before you release a patch instead of two mins after
You don't have to respond to my post so aggressively, and I'm unsure why you're responding to my post like I'm an employee of Larian. All I did was post a link showing branches on SteamDB are getting updated, which shows Patch 5 is being worked on, and that I hope it means they have been testing to fix the Act 3 issues and it will be released soon.
