Hello,

I started the game in tactician mode, but right at the very start, after the nautiloid crash, I switched to balanced mode just to see what the difference is, I did not save the game and simply reloaded my last save which was set on tactician mode and continued in tactician mode from there.

Did I ruin my save, or am I still on track to get the "complete the game in tactician mode" achievement? I'm playing on Playstation 5.

if yu change Mid Play i bet its like any other game.
(i never Tried i always lock on in some difficult and no matter what go with it till the end.. im a Souls player so.. dont know if yu understand my mind set..xD)

But I didn't save the game after switching to normal, I just switched the difficulty then loaded back to a tactician save.

This is so unfair, there should be a warning for this, and it shows why only 0.4% of players got the achievement, it's not hard, it's just bugged, in no other game is this a problem.

But why though? Why would it matter that I changed the difficulty then loaded the game to a tactician save? I never saved on normal.

You can try to finish and let us know if you get the achievement? I'd be curious to see what happens in your case.

Why = because the way their game engine tracks progress is not just linked to the save game

Thi is also why reloading a save can give you different options

Do you mean dialogue options change after reloading? Independent of die rolls?

This kind of makes no sense, it would mean that if I ever started a game on normal, I could never get the achievement, as other saves, unrelated to my current game, were on normal.

Shouldn't the game only track what happens on a save? Why would unsaved changes matter?

I will be posting here when I finish the game, it really should not matter what I did without saving the game.

I finished the game and got the achievement, as I predicted it did not matter that I had changed the difficulty, didn't save and then loaded a previous save that was still on tactician.
