I'd be embarrassed to host a service this poor and I'd be embarrassed to have my products on such a poor service.

I'm sorry, if I don't write much, but the last days, it was constant timeout , I don't even know, if I can post this here.
I think, it is time to find a new hosting side, this is getting a bit ridiculous.

The performance is abysmal, I get gateway timeouts every day and it's been particularly difficult to access the forums the last couple of days.

Do the forums get the weekends off?

Chk! These forums get every day off and nobody at crèche Larian gives two tsk'vas about it

Maybe they want us to go outside once in a while.

I spent all day in the druids' grove talking to animals. How much more outside can I get?

That sounds like not-logged-in pages might be cacheable, but when you’re logged in, it has to hit the database for the extra information you get. If that database is overloaded (or crashes), that could explain the regular dead forums.

I hope no one has to restore the database manually every time.

You spend days trying to access the forum and then when you finally make it most of the new content is about the poor showing by the forum.

It really is pathetic.

The title of this thread is obsolete. The forum is mostly not performing at all nowadays.

Yeah, it's getting quite annoying. I don't understand why a company capable of making something such as BG3 cannot host a simple board.

Hey all.

Our current forums have been running since 2003, which makes them 20 years old this year! With the new influx of recent users, the servers have been struggling as they are showing their age, as shown by the issues they've been experiencing lately, such as not loading properly.

Our team at Larian is currently looking into migrating these forums to a newer and more stable platform. We also hope to migrate them along with the current archive of threads, so that no information or conversations are lost. The Larian community has been posting here for many years and we think that needs preserving.

I will have more news soon and I will share them with you. In the meantime, apologies for the current loading issues, the team continues to look into those along with UBB.
