I've mostly done a few different Tavs and Durges, with different approaches and motivations.

Funnily enough I actually prefer a Tav over a Durge - Durge is fun every once in a while, but I do enjoy the freedom I have when creating my own Tav. I just love having my own headcanon about who that character is, what they experienced before the game, how it affects their choices - and I feel that Durge restricts that in some ways. I like the extra scenes and lines you get for the Durge, though.


I cant comment on the Origins too much, I only played a little bit as Karlach.
It felt weirdly inconsistent. Sure, you get a few things here and there about how you experience the engine and all that, but... there are some aspects that just haven't been taken into consideration. You can pet Scratch in Act I already, its the very same animation as it is with any other character, but somehow that doesn't burn the dog?
There is a few moments like that that feel a bit off.
