I just returned from working away and never had any problems with the game before but when I ran it after the patch the game crashes randomly all the time, sometimes after 5 mins sometimes after 1 hour, I spent most of the day trying to fix it, updating the GPU driver, Dxdiag, RAM speed etc etc. then I spotted a random post on Reddit, "solved crashes by reseting the graphics in game", so I tried this and low & behold it worked longer than ever before! Why finally made it smoother was disabling any boost overclock of the GPU , thats not me overclocking it but it's by default, using Asus GPU Tweak I lowered that completely, the memory clock by 1000 & the voltage up 10%. I probably don't need all of these but the game was crashing so much I was desperate, even on boot! However for some reason after it does crash resetting the graphics settings in game seems to make it stable.
