It is one of the better swords in Act 1 if you make a greatsword. I never use it because I use the one that drops in the githyanki crèche for Lae’zel. But the sussur bark greatsword does have the benefit of silencing enemies, that is preventing them from casting magic, when you hit them. Not sure how long it lasts, but it can be useful.
