I have to imagine the game is making decent bank, so I imagine it wouldn't be out of the question to get a male voice set that sounds appropriate for Dragonborn and halforcs and people who want to role-play a more gruff and imposing character.

It really is quite odd in a role-playing game like this to have multiple voice sets that don't sound very different from eachother, all of which are pretty jarring coming out of a halforc or huge dragon man. I'm many hours into the game and it really hasn't stopped bothering me to hear such an unfitting voice from my character.

If we can't get more voice options, at least it would be nice if we could have an option for our character to me silent. Most of the dialogue from custom characters is just them weirdly mumbling inanely to themselves anyway.

Sidenote, Dragonborn still need additions and buffs to their race perks, currently their perks are basically useless.

If we could get this implemented it would be really, really awesome! Just one growling or gruff voice, please!? Playing a half-orc, dwarf or dragonborn and sounding like an effete Brit is really jarring.

A game selling well does not always mean more things get added. Larian has already spent a lot for the various new "ending" content and bug fixes. They have not implemented things that would be simple to do despite requests, such as giving Paladins back choice of deity and moving initiative back to D20. I doubt adding more voice options is even on their radar.

If you add male voices, you have to add female ones, too, so that's even more work.

I'd rather they implement mod support and then the modders can go wild with requests like this. There are already a lot of cosmetic mods.
