Every time I attempt to continue my splitscreen co-op game or add in the second player, the game freezes and crashes. I have sent dozens of error reports to PSN (error code CE-108255-1).
I was able to play the full game all the way through back when it first released. When I attempted a second playthrough a month later, the same issue occurred and the game became unplayable. I started yet another playthrough and got about 10 hours in before experiencing the same error.
I have never experienced this with any other PS5 game. I have reinstalled the game numerous times, gone offline, deactivated HDR, everything short of resetting the system to get this game to work. I haven't heard any news about a fix for this.
I reached out to Larian a few days ago regarding the issue but I have not heard back yet. As of today, BG3 is the only title that I have played on PS5 that is completely broken.
