This is a follow-up to my earlier post about extreme lag: https://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=924185#Post924185

I managed to get the game to load after waiting longer than the 10 minutes I'd been giving it (it wound up taking 16), and I immediately went to settings to turn everything down as much as possible, to try to minimize any future lag. While there, I noticed the default display adapter was listed as "Microsoft Basic Render Driver" instead of my actual graphics card, AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with Radeon Graphics. The game lag I'm experiencing makes perfect sense if the game isn't using the right graphics card, but I have no option to switch to the correct card in the options menu, and I don't know where else I could make that switch. Task Manager seems to display the correct graphics card being used so I'm not sure why the game isn't recognizing it.

The only other mention I saw of this issue was here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1086940/discussions/3/6045572169623628545/ Like this person, I checked that the graphics card shows up/is enabled in my Device Manager and that my drivers are up to date. My game ran smoothly prior to November when Patch #4 was released. How do I make sure Baldur's Gate 3 is reading my main graphics card correctly to run like it used to?
