I don't write this post lightly, as I'm usually the guy screaming that games are too easy. I'm on my 4th play through, I have all but tactician and honour mode achieves, and have yet to use a "broken" build or any cheese on my part. I left my tactician game to start an honour mode game as soon as it came out. The idea of a tactician difficulty with no scrumming is extremely appealing to me.

First of all, amazing job all around in every category. I'm in love with this game. 110%

That being said, there's a few extremely obvious "Angry Dungeon Master" plays going on in honour mode that almost make it not fun.

Enemy rolls: Everything hits over 90% of the time, and the damage rolls are all always max damage. Nowhere in the difficulty description does it say you've removed random chance from enemies, but I made a spreadsheet of damage rolls on my third attempt, and am now able to compare them with my 4th attempt. Did you guys not think someone would notice, or was your intent to just be mean and enjoy wasting people's time? For example, in the fight in the
creche under Rosymorn
, the crossbowmen each hit me twice a round, for max piercing and psychic damage, all 4 rounds I survived before finally wiping. In this play through, in the fight
in front of the Grove, the bubear one-shotted a guy and so did the first two goblins to move.
Seriously?

Broken rolls: I've also noticed since patch 3, in both balanced and tactician, while scrumming, that I sometimes had to reload 3 or more times before I could even get a different roll from the first. I don't use Karmic Dice. The odds of this happening are insanely low. The number of times it was a 1 was also just unbelievable. Reloading and rolling a critical fail 4 times in a row? Come on, guys. That's back end manipulation. Secret rolls before the roll to see if I'm even allowed to really roll in the first place, and it has zero place in what is essentially a hardcore tactician run. Not fair play or sportsman-like behavior on your end.

Gale being the main target at all times: Seriously. if he's alive and the enemy CAN target him, they do. Why? They'll bypass better targets and take hits of opportunity just to get to him. Be less transparent with the shenanigans.

Coup-de-grace: Who got their wheaties peed in on your dev team? Standing over a downed player and mutilating them instead attacking living and more dangerous targets? Smoke a doobie dudes and fix the AI.

75 xp for Commander Zhalk in honour mode: I can't even with this one...

The last thing I want to suggest is more common sense, and I honestly can't imagine why you didn't do this on your own accord considering some of have played this through multiple times now.

Please, please, pretty please make a list of what you guys consider a "boss" and what their legendary ability is, since you couldn't be bothered to give them a title or symbol somewhere, and your decisions on who is and is not a boss have been totally random.

When someone is investing 120+ hours in a play through on hardcore, the last thing they want 20+ hours into the game is unfair dice rolls and unnecessary unknowns downing them after all that hard work. This was extremely mean, and completely inconsiderate of the average player's time. You are cheesing us to death instead of giving us a challenging and fair chance. The no scrumming, act 3 nerfs to players only, and legendary abilities were more than sufficient plays to make this challenging. To make it so unbalanced just shows how much resentment your team really has for their inability to stop the broken builds and exploits in the first place. It's punishing those of us who choose to play fairly, and not punishing the exploiters and broken builders at all.

Thanks for the time.

Huh. Yeah, I don't see that. I love it the way it is. I wish it had all the options from custom to max, too; hidden passive rolls, triple resting cost and all that.

Side note; Gale has been having trouble with getting swarmed by Gobbos since the very first release of EA.

Fear my wrath, for it is great indeed.
