For those of you unable to load saves on PS5, are you getting any error? Or is it always loading until a certain percentage (75, 100, etc) and then crashing?

Got an error CE-108255-1

It happens after a party with tieflings in act 1 after a long rest.

Yes, the code is ce-108255-1. while loading, the bar hits 75% and stays there for a few minutes then when it hits 100 the error pops up

Yes I do get error code ce-108255-1.

It occurs at 100% loading of the save file and you start to hear the back round noice with birds and stuff (Act 3, Baldurs Gate)

I have 6 play throughs ongoing at various places in the game but only those in act 3 gives me a crash and error, the other saves in ac1 and 2 are working.

Edit: I play on ps5 but I have the pc version also and it’s exactly the same behaviour there. I use NO mods, never have.

I’m having the same issue on PS5. Played this morning, came back to play and the game crashes when trying to load saved games. Receiving error code ce-108255-1. No mods used in PS5.

I was trying to load at Mirror of loss, and it wants me to report the error to Sony. I can load my save before the house of grief battle however

During my Honour mode playthrough, I just finished the goblin camp, and went to long rest with the Tieflings. Had a sex scene with Astarion, and then game crashed.

Now any time I try to load my Honour Mode save, it hits 100%, and crashes.

If I try to load any other saves, the game either crashes at 100%, or crashes when I do split screen.

Game is currently literally un-playable. PS5 btw.

It is over a month since the game is unplayable on ps5.

In patch 4 it was a massive lag in act 3 and now the error CE-108255-1 that prevent people from progress in Act 1 or 3.

The new hot fix has not fixed the issue.
The game has been unplayable since patch 5.
Please give insight that this problem is being addressed, I cannot play multiplayer, I cannot play act 3 at all.

PS5 version is literally broken since patch 5.

Cosigning all of this. I have tried every method to make it work, and they have all failed. The only save I can load is 40 hours older than my current game, which has every quest completed in act 3 except the final main quests. And it all seems lost.

Not played from october. Update and lauch game 9 dec
70 hour save cannot load correctly.
100% load with sound of environment then crash with sending window.

Steam check files
No mods
Deleted save folder from /appdata
Dunno what to fix

Same problem here. PS5, honour mode, act 2, 40-ish hours in. Any attempt to load the save ends in a crash.

I've tried to disable performance mode and loading the save offline. Neither solve the issue.

Hopefully Larian are at least aware of the issue. It seems relatively widespread, considering the number of posts I'd seen here and on Reddit with the same problem.

Foe me, I am on PS5, so no mods..
When it didnt work, the saves would load to 100% then crash after a few seconds at 100%. I got all my Act 3 saves back by loading one not in the lower city, it worked and just loaded the next one up the list and that worked (it always crashed before) and I worked my way up the list to the latest save. Saving and reloading normal after that. I have finished the game now actually...

What's the status here @Larian?! It has been almost 2 weeks since you broke the game (or at least act 3 of it) on ps5. This should have absolute priority, as ps5 players have bought the game, have played it for dozens of houes and can't finish it now for weeks.

At least some aknowledgement of the problem and that you're working on it would be nice, the radio silence is getting frustrating. Please fix this ASAP, it's not understandable why you fix bugs with traders or do slight performance optimizations before adressing major blockers like this for a whole platform!

Seconding this. Although i think maybe they have different teams for e.g. bug fixing and working on major patches.
Yeah but would be nice to know if something is in the making and if i can spend the christmas holidays finishing the game

My SP game won't load, it has a Save Contains Missing Mods error. I removed my mods because no matter what we did in our MP game we could not load it with any mods installed.

Also the hour count on that playthrough reset to zero in the the morgue/ mindflayer colony.
