My personal opinion on the matter is that squidding Orpheus is the best for Lae'zel and in general, because it rids the Githyanki of a future God-King. Replacing Vlaakith with Orpheus just shifts the problem of them blindly following some semi-divine, glorified being to them blindly following another semi-divine, glorified being. But not the point of this thread.
