Trying to figure out if this is a bug or intended gameplay before I submit a bug report. I'm in Act 2- I don't know how far I'd be considered, I'm still working through Reithwin and the Gauntlet of Shar. I tried to fast-travel back to Waukeen's Rest, the game seemed to be letting me since it gave me the "You are about to enter another zone, OK?" prompt, but then after going through screen-loading, it just restarted my whole game to the main menu. I tried again- fast-traveled to the mountain pass and tried to enter Waukeen's Rest from there, it gave me the "you are leaving to a different zone, proceed?" prompt, I said yes, it hit the loading page, and again, main menu.
Am I not supposed to be able to go back to these Act 1 zones in Act 2? Because I know I could earlier in Act 2. And if not, I feel like the game should clearly say that it's not possible, instead of letting you try to travel and then just instantly losing several hours worth of playing because it forced you to the main menu.
