If you reject Bhaal, it seems kind of logical that he takes away that slayer form gift, IMO.
I only used it twice in the whole durge playthrough and was mighty underwhelmed with its power. Balthazar's flesh golem was much more powerful than me when I fought it in slayer form.
On the other hand, the first gift from Bhaal, the cloak that renders invisible after a kill is fantastic. It would be great if that could be obtained as a non-durge character.
I had a bard/warlock and could kill an enemy from distance with eldritch blast, then move invisible to another tactical spot on the battlefield. It was really enjoyable.
